Another weekend, another cafe. Today I met up with the lovely Jen with no plans in mind, we quickly decided we would venture out to Clapham to visit Brickwood, a new cafe to us both! After a quick jaunt on the bus we made it outside the lovely green exterior that is Brickwood. Located right by Clapham Common Station on a busy road it’s relatively easy to find, and it would be hard to miss this beautiful exterior. Before even walking inside we were both in agreement that this was going to be a goodie.
We were greeted by a friendly staff member who told us to take a seat where we like, it was Saturday afternoon but there were still plenty of spots available in the main front space. There is also a sweet outside courtyard (unfortunately it was raining) and a downstairs basement area, which is for the laptop folk as they have free wifi down there! The perfect place to come back to one day for an afternoon blogging session.
Orders were taken and our lattes arrived into our eager hands quickly, I believe the barista was Australian so I had high hopes and I’m happy to say they were up to both of our standards. There was some tasty looking food on the counter but as I had just eaten (Jamie’s Italian. One word, amazing!) I did not sample any on this trip.
The cafe space itself was perfect; brick walls, wooden features, white tiles, pops of colour and a dreamy courtyard. It was as though my Pinterest board had been put together to form this flawless cafe.
Jen and I spent the afternoon hours sipping on coffee and chatting about life, which is the best way to spend a Saturday afternoon in my opinion! This cafe may just be my new favourite and I will most definitely be back very soon, with laptop in tow to take advantage of that wifi and creative inspiring space!

Looks like a very cool little cafe. Hope you get to experience a sunny day in that courtyard real soon.

And more: The Underground station is just vis-a-vis and it's one of only a few stations in London with a shared platform for both trains, northbound and southbound. There also is a little Waitrose Supermarket on the other side of the road, perfect for shopping some forgotten items before going home.
You can also take the bus from there, it's quite an interesting area to drive thru.
Thanks for sharing- I will try the Brickwood on my next London trip.
